Hi, I'm Andrew. A current cybersecurity student passionate about cybersecurity. I am currently studying towards the Scottish HND Qualification in Cybersecurity.

My favourite aspects of cybersecurity include computer networking, ethical hacking, operating systems and server configuration / admininstration.

Projects

Custom Built PC

After some research I chose out some components to build a high performance PC for various usecases. These include virtualisation, day to day use and the odd game.

DIY NAS

Using a Raspberry Pi running openmediavault attached with hard drives in a RAID array to allow for network file storage/sharing.

DIY Home Network

My very own network, featuring a router running DHCP, DNS server, managed switch and various client devices.

Home Assistant Server

A Home Assistant server configured on a Raspberry Pi to automate day to day life and to allow for monitoring of devices.

Docker

A Raspberry Pi setup with Docker running various containers. Containers include: Pi Hole, Nginx web server, Beszel, n8n, Tailscale and Guacamole.
